Inspiring choices and progression to HE

Prior to his time working in education, Will worked in the professional sports industry, consulting with leading sports clubs across the globe. He was also responsible for designing and implementing an education and training programme, that was delivered in conjunction with a number of universities and colleges.

Will Joined Teesside University in 2015 as a recruitment assistant, responsible for the School of Social Sciences, Business and Law, before progressing to the role of recruitment coordinator. He was responsible for working with a number of local feeder institutions, developing a range of activities and schemes with businesses, and managing events such as the open days, and residential summer schools at Teesside.

As recruitment and admissions manager, Will is now responsible for leading the team and its activities across student recruitment, widening participation, and undergraduate admissions, working closely with a range of audiences from heads of sixth form and subject teachers, to students, student ambassadors, business, and marketing organisations.
