Sarah Melling
Senior Lecturer, Clinical Link Tutor and Placement Coordinator, University of Sunderland
Sarah is a Registered Adult Nurse with 30 years experience. She has a nursing career that includes a variety of clinical roles. This includes working on an acute medical admissions unit, a regional gastroenterology unit as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, and as a Senior Sister in Practice Development. In 2013, Sarah successfully completed her master’s degree in Education in Professional Practice at Northumbria University, which also gave her recognised teacher status with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Since May 2016, Sarah has been employed by the University of Sunderland, where she works as a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Link Tutor on the pre-registration adult nursing programme.
