Breakout session
This breakout session will be of benefit to all levels of knowledge.
Summary
This session will provide guidance on the options offered by employers, and how to support learners in making the right choices for their progression and future career. Options discussed will include (but are not exclusive to):
- school leaver programmes
- sponsored degrees
- apprenticeships (we will touch upon where they are offered – for more detail, please see the breakout session ‘Considering apprenticeships’)
Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions, and will better understand how young learners can access these options, where to find out more information, and why it is important to make the right choices for their future career.
Learning outcomes
Delegates will:
- understand the options available for learners
- learn where to find further information on these programmes
- be able to advise learners on the potential benefits of these options to their future
