Inspiring choices and progression to HE

This session will look at the many different routes into higher education, including the less traditional pathways and qualifications. The session will include information on apprenticeships, foundation degrees, HNCs, HNDs, and Access to HE courses, and will discuss the benefits and challenges relating to each.

Learning outcomes

Learner will:

• Gain an understanding of the key considerations for learners opting for less traditional pathways to higher education.
• Gain an awareness of the resources available to learners and advisers relating to different routes into higher education.
